Olaparib is effective against Brca1; p53 breast tumors (intraperitoneal injection at a dose of 50 mg/kg per day), but have no effect on HR-deficient Ecad; p53 breast tumors. Olaparib acts on tumor-bearing mice without dose-limiting toxicity. Olaparib has been used to treat tumors with BRCA mutations, such as ovarian cancer, breast cancer, and prostate cancer.
